Volunteers needed! A year-long series of school-wide evening programs designed to foster a love for reading at home by equipping parents and children with practical reading strategies.

Book Blasts at Roosevelt Elementary
Book Blast at Roosevelt Elementary
6 p.m. – 7p.m.
Book Blast! A year-long series of school-wide evening programs designed to foster a love for reading at home by equipping parents and children with practical reading strategies. Children also learn about different values that help people to become honorable and compassionate citizens of their communities. The events are supported by more than 30 community volunteers every month and attended by an average of more than 200 children and parents.
