Extreme Cold Weather Alerts - Allentown and Lehigh County
Extreme Cold Weather Alerts - Allentown and Lehigh County
Homeless people do not need to stay outside
During the winter the County builds on extensive supports already available throughout the year.
Too cold for the street (at or below 32 degrees F)
Lehigh County has many services for homeless people year round, including mostly 24/7 emergency shelters, weekday drop ins, housing assistance, street outreach, and soup kitchens. But when winter arrives, the need for a community response out of safety concerns is critical.
