Pennsylvania Education Advocacy Network
Pennsylvania Education Advocacy Network
Are you interested in joining a non-partisan legislative district-based team of volunteers who represent a broad range of education perspectives? Are you interested in being a part of a larger statewide network of advocates? If so, you may be interested in attending the next Pennsylvania Education Advocacy Network here in the Lehigh Valley, a program of the This Education Policy and Leadership Center. The goal of these teams

are to develop and maintain a continuing effective relationship with volunteers and their legislator and legislative staff in order to be a reliable and valued resource, effectively becoming a “go-to” information and informed opinion resource for state lawmakers. I have been working with the EPLC to assemble teams in all 14 legislative districts (4 in the PA Senate and 10 in the PA House) in the Lehigh Valley and feel it is important to meet face-to-face to discuss what this network is, how people can become involved, needs participants may have, and hear the latest news from Harrisburg presented by EPLC’s Executive Director-Ron Cowell.
Our second meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, February 9, from 6:30 to 7:30 pm at Wegmans in Bethlehem off of Route 512. We will meet on the 2nd floor above the cafeteria. (In the event of inclement weather, it will be rescheduled for some time soon after.) Below is the address along with a link to directions. Also, we will not be providing dinner although you are more than welcome to purchase your own and eat during the meeting.
