Program Investments

The United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley funds 73 programs at 47 human service agencies throughout the Lehigh Valley.

These investments are strategically invested in programs/partnerships/strategies that will address our priorities of education, older adults and basic needs by investing in programs that increase the graduation rate, help older adults remain as independent as possible, and ensure Lehigh Valley residents receive support for emergencies and basic needs.  Through these 73 funded programs, and three partnerships, (COMPASS Community Schools, Lehigh Valley Alliance on Aging, Allentown Promise Neighborhood), UWGLV will serve annually 57,688 children, families and older adults in the community.  The investments also allow the United Way to continue to provide the leadership, convene the partnerships, and develop the resources and solutions to improve our community.
