Mission

The mission of the Women's Leadership Initiative is to mobilize women to become powerful leaders through their philanthropy and advocacy; to engage women in promoting positive change in the lives of women and children in the Lehigh Valley; and to recognize women for their efforts.

Are you a woman who wants to lead through philanthropy and advocacy? Would you like to experience the excitement of creating positive change in our community?
 
It's really very simple to become a member of WLI. There are opportunities galore with this volunteer-driven organization, including:
  • Giving financial support
  • Becoming an Emerging Leader
  • Mentoring a WLI scholar or an Emerging Leader
  • Planning and attending events
  • Participating in active committees
  • Participating in the Council (through nomination process)
