Why the science of reading?  Why now?
Lehigh Valley Reads has a bold goal of ensuring all third-grade students are reading on grade level. Join us as we chronicle the campaign’s journey over the last year and explore plans for the year ahead.  Together, with a panel of local experts, we will dive deep into using explicit instruction of the science of reading to teach reading in our classrooms.  Research shows that using these practices is key to having more children reading on grade level.
