Service Above Self Awards

ALLENTOWN ROTARY - 100TH YEAR

The Allentown Rotary Club, established in 1914, is now celebrating 100 years of service.
The Club is seeking community nominations for its annual Service Above Self awards.

These awards will be presented at a 100th Gala event to be held on June 27, 2014 at Lehigh Country Club.  Three awards are presented for outstanding community service.  A monetary award will be given to the non-profit agency of each winner's choice.  Please nominate:

• A student in grades 9-12 who reside in Allentown who should be recognized for their community service to either a cause, a community project, a local non-profit or to needy individuals residing in the Allentown community
• A person over the age of 18 who serves in a staff role and resides in Allentown who will be recognized for the community service to either a cause, a community project, a local non-profit or to needy individuals residing in the Allentown community
• A group of persons/volunteers/staff based in Allentown who have demonstrated Service Above Self and gone beyond to make a difference in the Allentown community for individuals, a school, a neighborhood

Nominees will be reviewed June 6 and finalists interviewed June 13-14
