BASD Jeans Days

Ed Center Employees

Ed Center employees may wear jeans every Friday throughout the school year with a $5 donation per Friday, as long as jeans are appropriate for the employee’s responsibilities and scheduled activities.

School-Based Employees

BASD schools will continue their tradition of participating in one United Way Jeans Day per month. Each school may determine the day that works best for its staff and school community; the Jeans Day does not need to be a Friday.

Please Note:

• Jeans should be professional, business-casual jeans that are clean, neat and appropriate for the workplace. Jeans with excessive rips, tears or distressing are not appropriate.
• Employees should use professional judgment when determining appropriate attire based on their responsibilities and scheduled activities.
• Ed Center employees may participate each Friday, permitting work responsibilities, scheduled activities and other circumstances.
• School-based employees will participate in one United Way Jeans Day per month, with the participating day determined by their school.
• This special event is separate from your annual United Way campaign gift.
• Donations may be made via credit or debit card, venmo, paypal, through this portal.
• Payroll deduction is not available for Jeans Day contributions.
