Women United members leverage their individual strengths and collective resources to improve the lives of women, children and families.
Women United, an affinity group of United Way, fights for the education and stability of women, children and families in the Greater Lehigh Valley. These local, female philanthropic leaders are committed to forging partnerships, empowering other women to succeed and supporting meaningful programs with lasting impact. Members may:
- Connect with key business and community leaders at exclusive events
- Serve on committees to help influence decision making
- Support worthwhile causes during unique volunteer opportunities
Members contribute a minimum of $1,000 annually to the Women United fund, which is fully invested back into our community. A Step-Up option is also available to donors making a $500 pledge now, along with a commitment to reach the $1,000 level over three years. Gifts of any size are appreciated. When you make a gift of less than $1,000, you become a “Friend of Women United” and support our Signature Projects in the community.
For more information, please contact us at WomenUnited@unitedwayglv.org.
“Women United provides female philanthropists the opportunity to see funds stewarded effectively with a front seat perspective through advocating and volunteerism.”
