Beshon Smith presents her life's compelling journey from dropping out of the ninth grade to successfully completing her PhD in an unforgettable way. You will be inspired by the conviction Dr. Smith puts forth to use the transformative power of education as a catalyst to change the lives of young people and their families. 

You will hear a supportive, but challenging, message that will move you to deepen the way you connect with kids to help ensure their success with school attendance and beyond. Educators, health practitioners, social workers, school administrators, community and faith leaders, parents and others in the community are encouraged to attend this informational and inspirational one-hour session. 

The event will be held inside Moravian College's Peter Concert Hall.
