Ryu Mizuno serves as United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley's Chief Growth Officer. Ryu is a senior nonprofit executive and growth leader with experience across social innovation, fundraising and nonprofit strategy. He most recently served as Chief Revenue Officer at Adler Planetarium in Chicago, where he led enterprise-wide revenue and fundraising strategy, brand positioning and market growth. Ryu also helped advance a strategic partnership with UC Berkeley focused on the social impact of awe, translating planetarium-based experiences into measurable, evidence-informed programs with philanthropic potential.

Across his career, Ryu has held senior leadership roles at nationally and globally recognized organizations including YMCA of the USA, UNICEF and Catholic Relief Services, and has also worked with world-renowned brands such as Major League Baseball and Tiffany & Co. He holds a BS in Communications from Boston University and an MBA from NYU’s Stern School of Business. Ryu currently resides in Chicago with his wife and three young children.
