As one of the nation’s top-performing local United Ways, volunteers are the key to our success. Volunteering has many benefits:

  • Improve your physical and mental health
  • Learn new skills and find a sense of purpose
  • Nurture new and existing relationships

Day of Caring

Together, an unprecedented 1,500 volunteers completed 8,200 hours of service during the 32nd United Way Day of Caring. Presented by Crayola and coordinated by Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, Day of Caring is the area’s largest single-day volunteer effort.

“This is where we really connect with our neighbors and community — and truly understand the impact we can make firsthand.
