Day of Caring
Together, an unprecedented 1,500 volunteers completed 8,200 hours of service during the 32nd United Way Day of Caring. Presented by Crayola and coordinated by Volunteer Center of the Lehigh Valley, Day of Caring is the area’s largest single-day volunteer effort.

Thirty Years of Impact: The Alliance Playground Program at Central Elementary STREAM Academy Keeps Allentown Kids Connected
A summer tradition for 30 years, the Alliance Playground Program brings Allentown children together for meals, recreation, learning and friendship. The program continues today at Central Elementary STREAM Academy, serving around 100 students daily.
