More than 20,000 donors and partners united to raise a record-breaking $19,741,940 during United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley’s (UWGLV) annual fundraising campaign.
Students at 2 Community Schools in the Allentown School District received over 1,000 gifts thanks to Lehigh Valley Labor Council, Capital Blue Cross, TeenWorks and partners.
Day of Caring is the largest, single-day volunteer effort in the community and kicks off the 2021 United Way campaign.
TeenWorks, Capital Blue Cross and Union members will make the transition back to the classroom a little easier for Roosevelt Elementary School students with new shelving and organized uniforms.
