More than 77.5 million Americans were born between 1946 and 1964. The “baby boomers” came of age in the era of sex, drugs, and rock & roll when authority and cultural norms were challenged.
Now, the baby boomer generation is aging. Every day, 10,000 baby boomers turn age 65. This trend started in 2011 and will continue until 2029. And just as they did in the 1960s and 1970s, baby boomers are challenging conventional wisdom about aging and long-term care.
The Spring 2021 PIA Conference will focus on the age-driven necessities of this self-reliant and highly-educated generation.
This conference will host keynote speaker Dr. Ruth Westheimer, a world-renowned sex therapist who pioneered discussing human sexuality on radio and television, author, professor and worldwide lecturer.
