Summer Learning Training Series: Ready to Learn

Join United Way of the Greater Lehigh Valley and the Lehigh Valley Summer Learning Coalition for a series of trainings on the Ready to Learn Initiative (RTL) and Trauma-Informed Strategies.
You may choose to attend one or both during the registration process.
Topic: Ready to Learn Training
When: Thursday, March 12, 8:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
Where: PBS39, 839 Sesame St., Bethlehem, PA
Light breakfast will be served.
Join fellow partners for a two in one training on PBS Learning Media and the Ready to Learn Initiative. PBS Learning Media will 'Bring the World to Your Classroom.' This curation has free, standards-aligned videos, interactives and lesson plans you can utilize. RTL provides free, evidence-based educational resources to help build early science and literacy skills through a hands-on engaging framework. Come learn about both of these amazing tools to help support your program planning in your upcoming summer learning experience or any time of the year. Presented by the PBS39 Education Team.

Join fellow partners for a training on Trauma-Informed Strategies to Help with Challenging Behavior, presented by Pinebrook Family Answers. Topics covered will include 'what does crisis look like and how to help students build coping skills,' 'secondary trauma,' and 'establishing a sense of calm for students.'
