Meet our AmeriCorps VISTAs!
AmeriCorps VISTA is a national service program that builds permanent infrastructure in nonprofit organizations to help them more effectively bring individuals and communties out of poverty. The aim of the UWGLV VISTA project is to improve grade level reading rates in the Lehigh Valley through a collective impact approach involving school districts, youth serving organizations, city governments, the faith-based community, higher education institutions, students, families and other community partners.
