Her focus is to really integrate the community feel within the school to build upon existing relationships that are already in place. Megan is so excited to be a part of this wonderful team, and she looks forward to getting to know the students and families.

Harvest 5K
Central's community partner Congregation Keneseth Israel organizes the Harvest 5K every year. Proceeds from the event go directly to Central. In the past, proceeds were used to install solar lights in the school playground to make it a safer and brighter area during the fall and winter months.
Homework Club
The Central Catholic High School Homework Club
is an after-school program designed to help elementary students who fail to turn in homework regularly develop better “Read and Respond” homework participation. High school students from Central Catholic meet with younger students on a weekly basis to share their interests and talents, and act as positive role models.
Playground Renovation Project
After years of use, Central's playground needed some renovation and uplift. Central's community partner City Center took up the project during the summer months of 2021, making it a safe and fun area for students to play on.
Sunshine Club
The Sunshine Club
is an initiative that identifies students who are chronically late to or absent from school. The school guidance counselor checks in with these students on a daily basis and meets with them weekly for breakfast. These students are also given alarm clocks and taught how to use them so that they can learn how to be responsible for waking up to get to school on time. After students have demonstrated regular attendance, they “graduate” from the program and new students are introduced to the program.
Gamematics
Gamematics
is an initiative designed to emphasize the importance of math during family activities and to help incorporate games with key math concepts. The program provides families with easy-to-assemble games to practice math at home.
