Hosted by the Lynfield Community Center, students are taught the process of plant cultivation and how to respect the environment, as well as the value of vegetables, herbs, and other plants in their lives.
Backpack Pals
Housed at Lynfield Community Center, Backpack Pals provides students with sustainable food through the weekend.
Coffee & Donuts with Dr. A
Dr. Alogna holds town hall meetings with the parents and caregivers of Freemansburg Elementary students. Sessions were held virtually during the pandemic; the school is excited to bring back the in-person sessions with families.
Homework Club
Held weekly in the Freemansburg Elementary Library, specific grades are targeted to maximize effectiveness.
Lynfield Food Pantry
Utilizing connections in the surrounding area, the Lynfield Community Center hosts a food pantry for families in the Freemansburg and Bethlehem communities. Food is always available to those in need.
Mobile Dental Van
Bethlehem Area School District continues to offer Health Star II, a mobile dental van, to our students. This mobile dental van educates students on dental hygiene and provides on-site dental exams, cleanings, and restorations.
