After-School Programs
There is a large variety of after-school programs available to all students at South Mountain. These programs include: Community Bike Works – Earn-A-Bike Program, Cooking Matters-Second Harvest, Girls on Track

, Homework Club and many more.
Dental and Vision Services
STARR Community Health provides Dental Vans twice a month to students at SMMS and students in need of vision care receive vouchers for services.
Family Engagement
The school connects and engages families with community partners/providers at after-school events such as Game Nights, Multicultural Holiday Night, Family Fun Night, Lights On Afterschool event, and a Talent Show.
Family Supports
South Mountain Middle School collaborates with local partners to provide students and families with a number of basic needs including: uniforms, winter gear, school supplies, hygiene products, emergency food access and information on community resources.
Student Supports
There are several programs that operate during the school day such as Assemblies, Quarterly Advisory meetings with community partners and families, and monthly breakfast and lunch for Student of the Month and Most Improved Students.

Meet Community School Coordinator Celina Daddario
Miss Daddario, a Lehigh Valley Local, started as the Community School Coordinator at South Mountain Middle School during the 2020-21 school year. Miss.Daddario has always had a passion for community engagement and education with previous experience delivering STEAM Programs to the community as a Science Educator.
She strives to provide a positive school culture with opportunities for her students to collaborate, problem solve, and contribute to their school/community. She works closely with the community to maintain and grow relationships to support the school needs and implement supports.
