2021-22 Greater Lehigh Valley Results

Overall Score:

Student Leadership: The overall score of 72.9 is 1.3 points higher than the overall LIM average. The sub measures of positive wellbeing, self-advocacy and prosocial behaviors are all scoring close to 2 points higher than the LIM average.

Supportive Environment for Staff: The overall score is 79.6 which is close to 1 point higher than the LIM school average. Specifically, the submeasure of collective efficacy where teachers believe that their collective actions can positively impact students and help them succeed. This measure was 2.6 points higher than other LIM schools.

Supportive Environment for Students: Submeasures include student empowerment, trusting relationships and school belonging, all of which are close to 2-3 points higher than the LIM school average.

Empowered Learners: The overall score of 73.4 is 2.6 points higher than other LIM schools. The submeasure of supportive teachers stands out with 3.8 point difference when compared to the LIM school average.

Improving Easton Education After reading an article in November 2015 that 32% of 2nd grade students in the Easton Area School District read below grade level, National Honor Society member Jack Quinn wanted to help. With the help of TeenWorks funding, Jack purchased six Little Scholar tablets for the Spring Garden Children’s Center in Easton, PA for their lower income, at risk pre-K students.

“[The tablets are] pre-loaded with over 200 educational reading, math and geography applications...  [Jack’s team] taught the children and teachers how to utilize these tablets combining both technology with fun and engaging educational games to keep the children interested.”
