Keynote Speaker: Khine Zaw
 
Khine Zaw is the Founder and CEO of Khineder Creations, a social enterprise that produces vegan, organic skincare products handmade by moms in the Lehigh Valley. Proceeds help to support survivors of domestic violence and sex trafficking.
 
Born and raised in Myanmar, Khine holds a Ph.D. in Human Security from University of Tokyo and is actively continuing her research work on cultural and socio-economic factors of indigenous people as a postdoctoral researcher at Myanmar Academy of Social Sciences. She has traveled to more than thirty countries as a humanitarian and researcher and worked with many international organizations including United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), International Organization for Migration (IOM) and Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).
 
She was recently named among the honorees of Forty Under 40 by Lehigh Valley Business Council and BW- NICE Lehigh Valley Chapter’s Business Woman of the Year - a female empowerment organization that brings women together for a common cause and establishing a platform that focuses on awareness of domestic abuse.
